Independent drink experts, Global Brands, is expanding its portfolio, as it announces the launch of its innovative tequila range; TAKE. The exciting product portfolio will include a 100% Blue Weber agave blanco tequila and a range of tequila liqueurs, to cater for every palate in bars and clubs across the UK.
Created specifically with the growing UK tequila market in mind – which saw 478% on trade growth in 2023 – TAKE features the highest quality ingredients, a refined smoothness, and a vibrant brand identity, particularly targeting those who typically lean towards shots other than tequila.
With insight indicating flavour as the key driver in spirits over the last five years*, the TAKE portfolio features a range of distinctive flavoured liqueurs – launched in a bid to convert the tequila-curious into genuine fans and challenge consumer perceptions of the spirit.
The range comprises of three fresh flavoured liqueurs; pineapple, jalapeño and pink grapefruit, with a 34% ABV, available in a 70cl format at £29.99 RRP.
Inspired by traditional Huichol artwork and the dynamic energy of Mexican culture, TAKE presents a fresh take on tequila with its vibrant and colourful brand identity – a celebration of the kaleidoscope of Mexican culture, without resorting to tired clichés.
The launch supports Global Brands’ strategic aim of attracting drinkers from the wider spirits category.
