What makes you proud to work for Global Brands?

We are truly independent and pioneer great tasting drinks. We have a fantastic line-up of brands that offers something for everyone. We also champion our industry offering support to all!

What’s your biggest accomplishment at Global Brands?

In my time here I’ve been lucky enough to receive additional training in the form of a data analyst apprenticeship. I studied one day a week for nearly 2 years whilst juggling my work and deadlines. I recently just found out that I’ve passed (thanks to all the help and support of my fantastic team)!

What’s the best project you’ve worked on, and why?

I’ve worked on so many fantastic projects during my time with Global, across both on and off trade. The project I always pride myself on the most though are my annual trend presentations. These projects always take AGES to put together, relentlessly researching, cross referencing our data with trade press and ultimately trying to predict what the next 12 months look like. It’s so satisfying when you make a bold prediction that turns out to be right! It’s an even better feeling when as a business we’ve been pro-active to really drive trends forward and make an impact!

What’s your favourite product by Global Brands? And why?

Mango GO! Is definitely my favourite, because sometimes you just need to grab life by the mangoes.

So, just out of curiosity, what is your favourite packet of crisps?

There is only one right answer here, McCoy’s Flame Grilled Steak (🐐).

If you had one piece of advice to someone wanting a career in the drinks industry what would it be?

Research all you can! “Drinks” covers so many different categories, all with their own specific nuances and dynamics, so arming yourself with as much information as possible is essential to success.
