How long have you worked at Global Brands?

18 years, its gone so fast!

What is your role at Global Brands and what does it entail?

Warehouse Manager, I oversee the running of the Warehouse and Re-pack operation from Goods-In to Goods-Out, ensuring our products reach the customers in pristine condition.  

How did you get into it?  

I worked as a Senior Stock Controller and was then promoted to Warehouse Manager for Eddie Stobart Ltd at Burton-Upon-Trent and was transferred over to Global Brands Ltd when they purchased the warehouse in July 2007.   

What’s the best project you’ve worked on and why?

I’m particularly proud of creating the Re-pack operation back in 2018 and seeing how its evolved over the years to what it is today. We can produce over 14,000 cases over 3 production lines in a single 8-hour shift. AMAZING!!   

What do you like the most about working at Global Brands?

Everybody works hard and are happy to help others if and when required, we are one big family here at GBL.

What’s your favourite GB product and why?

Manchester Pink Gin with our Sicilian Lemon Tonic. Our tonic range is outstanding.

And just to be nosy, what’s your favourite packet of crisps?

Crikey bikey, what a question! I have so many favourites, crisps are my guilty pleasure. I’ll go for Roast Beef Monster munch.

What one piece of advice would you give to someone thinking about a career in the drinks industry?

Go for it, there are so many exciting roles within the drinks industry.
