We are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant. Due to growth in business, the company is looking for new talent to join their finance team.
This is a rounded role which will give the successful applicant excellent experience in many different aspects of the business. Working in a small, friendly team we are looking for someone who is open to learning new accounting-based skills and is motivated to support the growth of the company.
Responsibilities
As Assistant Management Accountant, you will support the Management Accountant in Month End reporting and assume responsibility for day-to-day financial processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assistance Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments for the business
- Maintain customer rebate and promotional allowances in the sales finance database, ensuring that the resulting accruals held within the system accurately reflect the terms within their contracts
- Intercompany Interest Calculations
- Calculation of third-party brand support claim
- Variance Analysis of overhead costs
- Analysis of Customer Listing Fees
- Review manual accruals within the database for In-Direct customer spend
- USA P&L, Including sales analysis
- Monthly Direct and Indirect Sales Reporting
- Monthly indirect sales calculations and profitability tracking
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is/has:
- AAT qualified or has a good experience of working in an accounts role.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Excel.
- Ability to work in a team
- Strong work ethic to get involved with ad-hoc duties
- Understanding of how an accounts team runs in a manufacturing environment
Hours of work will be: Full time, 40 hours per week.
Working five days per week between Mon-Fri, 9am til 5pm.
