Creators of remarkable mixers since 1886, Franklin & Sons have welcomed Tommaso Cicala, UK Brand Ambassador, and David Robinson, Global Brand Ambassador, to their expanding team.
Tommaso Cicala is taking the reins as Franklin & Sons UK Brand Ambassador, based in London but with a focus across the country.
Hailing from Italy, Tommaso has worked in various bars and restaurants across Italy, London, New York, and the Caribbean, honing his skills in food and beverage management, and developing a profound appreciation for the art of pairing flavours and creating memorable bar experiences.
David Robinson joins Franklin & Sons as Global Brand Ambassador. He brings a wealth of experience to the team, having worked in brand ambassador roles at Pernod Ricard, across on trade and consumer advocacy platforms for their Scotch Whisky portfolio.
David will work with partner venues globally – especially across the USA and Europe – and support some accounts around his base in Manchester.

Earlier this month, Franklin & Sons revealed their summer campaign, promoting the spritz sharing occasion with activations including spritz terrace kits in UK venues, spirit partnerships across an impressive ‘Remarkable Spritz Serves’ campaign, at Pub in the Park and Goodwood Races, and across both trade and consumer events.
The spritz serves showcased over the summer have been devised with a range of spirit partners, to highlight the breadth and versatility of the spritz, with several perfect serves supported across social channels and video showing consumers the range of spritz serves available.
The campaign comes as Franklin & Sons predict spritz serves are set to trend in bars this summer. The serve has become a staple of summer in recent years, and more consumers are looking to playful fusions of familiar flavours that evoke memories of holidays and travel, as escapism trends influence drink choices in 2023.
Franklin & Sons have also partnered with So Let’s Talk, launching the mixer brand’s hospitality support fund and sponsoring events during mental health awareness week. The team have also been collaborating with the IWSC and have featured in The Three Drinkers new Amazon series.
