I began my Apprenticeship at Global Brands in September 2021, this was my first proper job since leaving School, and I was nervous but excited at the same time!

After studying Business at Sixth-Form, I knew I wanted to continue with it, however, I decided University wasn’t for me. I wanted a job where I could earn and learn at the same time.

Over time, I have grown both as a person and with knowledge of the Business. I’ve enjoyed every minute of my apprenticeship – especially working with the team at the Clay Cross Distribution Warehouse. I have mainly been involved with the Transport side of the Company, dealing with all our drivers, deliveries and organisation. Since day one the team have supported me none stop, I’ve been involved in many new tasks and learnt so much alongside them.

Global Brands is a great business to work for, I have felt comfortable, supported and appreciated from the day I started.  My everyday routine starts at 8am, where I will update my usual Spreadsheets first thing, and usually make everyone a morning cuppa! My main responsibility is the Sales Order Log, where we record every single order made at Global Brands! It has turned into a monster of a Spreadsheet, which I take huge pride and enjoyment in. Then the Afternoon is spent sorting our drivers out for their adventures the next day!

I thoroughly enjoyed my apprenticeship, and I was extremely proud when I found out I had passed all my exams! Now, I am excited to continue working for Global brands, and hopefully progress further within the Business.
