In October 2024, I joined Global Brands as a Supply and Procurement Apprentice with no prior industry experience. From day one, the onboarding team made me feel supported and prepared for the journey ahead.

Over the first few months, my team and I focused on developing core skills and industry knowledge while building strong relationships across the department. We put everything we learned straight into practice, which helped me quickly embed new skills.

By the time I reached my first year, I had taken on greater responsibilities, including end-to-end oversight of purchase orders, purchasing Hooch Point of Sale materials, and contributing to contract renewals and tenders.

I chose an apprenticeship at Global Brands because the course content aligned perfectly with my day-to-day role, offering the ideal balance of study and hands-on experience. The fast-paced and ever-changing supply and procurement environment has given me valuable exposure to a variety of scenarios that I can take into any future role.
