Role overview

This is an excellent opportunity within our expanding sales team.  As a National Account Executive- Cash & Carry in the Midlands, you will be the face of our portfolio, driving brand visibility, sales, and distribution across independent retailers and wholesalers in your assigned territory.

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Meeting distribution, availability, and visibility targets to maximise sales
  • Educating clients on new product opportunities and implementing store activations to drive brand awareness
  • Working independently, managing your territory, and ensuring optimal product placement and promotions
  • Developing strong relationships with key retail decision-makers to grow brand presence and sales
  • Managing and growing wholesale accounts within your territory
  • Executing distribution, availability, and visibility targets across key outlets
  • Monitoring and reporting on competitor activity and price points
  • Providing education on product range and category to drive customer engagement
  • Reporting insights on distribution levels and shelf positioning

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in FMCG, retail, or sales, with a passion for developing brands in the convenience sector
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage your territory and workload
  • A full manual driving license and ability to travel within the defined area
  • Ideally based in Birmingham or surrounding area
