‘HOOLA HOOCH!’ your way through summer – New flavour announced for summer 2016.
Following consumer demand for more complex and exotic flavours, Hooch has extended their range to include new passion fruit and mango liquid Hoola Hooch.
The new sparkling alcoholic drink contains real fruit juices and combines the sweet tones of mango with a fresh but juicy tang of passionfruit causing an explosion of flavour and Hooch’s signature sharp citrus.
Hoola Hooch is distinguished by a colourful, vibrant design that embodies the carnival of flavours that it houses. The drink will be available in 500ml and 700ml bottles and 440ml cans and can either be enjoyed in a glass over ice or straight from the fridge.
The launch will be backed by Hooch’s ground breaking social media campaign #OutrageouslyRefreshing which features top social influencers Joe Charman, Stuggy, Huw Samuel and Leslie Wai and is predicted to reach 23m people in May, June and July.
Hooch was successfully relaunched in the UK by Global Brands in July 2012 under the tag line “refreshment with bite”. The new formulation promises the same cherished taste but with a lowered ABV of 4%. The relaunch proved to be a hit with millennials due to the brands personality, innovation and flavour profiles the range has since become a firm favourite in the RTD category.
Hooch is the best performing RTD in the category*. The product launch will be supported with digital social media activity along with a student campaign tour titled ‘Hooch summer balls’.
This product will initially be available in Tesco, Morrison’s and through Nisa and Batley’s.
