Teichenné, the bartenders’ favourite, is instigating a cocktail revolution by putting consumers in the middle of the cocktail mix. Teichenné’s new POS literally puts the bartender in the hands of the consumer by offering two different ways to create cocktail recipes.
Global Brands Marketing Director, Simon Green, comments:
“The growth in cocktails of 36%* provides a huge opportunity to offer a new concept in cocktail making. In the on-trade consumers are looking for an experience they can’t get at home, and Teichenne puts bartender expertise at their fingertips.”
The first concept is ‘Build Your Own Cocktail’, which includes A5, single use menus, branded pitchers and screen media. The menus are designed to be placed on tables, and consumers then fill them in to create their own recipes. They must choose a spirit, two Teichenné flavours, a mixer and then a serve, which is passed to the bartender to create. Consumers can also name their new cocktail and are encouraged to take a photo and share on the Teichenné Facebook page to win a monthly prize.
The second concept, ‘Pick and Mix Shots’, is supported by tall, re-usable menus, branded shot glasses and shot paddles. The menus depict six possible ‘shotails’, which can be created by mixing together two Teichenné flavours, such as Toffee Apple (Butterscotch and Green Apple) and Tropical Punch (Coconut and Peach). Offering unique, sweet shop flavours in 50ml mixes, the Pick and Mix Shots offer a more premium alternative using the bartenders’ favourite schnapps.
Global Brands Marketing Director, Simon Green, says:
“The new Teichenné support is changing the cocktail experience forever! Bartenders can now fully interact with consumers to produce a recipe which is specifically tailored to the individual, yet simple to implement. The ‘Build Your Own Cocktail’ and ‘Pick and Mix Shots’ make cocktail making an exciting occasion, encouraging consumers to trade-up to a premium product.”
