FRANKLIN & SONS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE: SOUTH LONDON

Are you looking to transition out of your highly successful top Bartender or General Manager role into a sales role, and become the face of our fast growing, award winning, premium soft drink and hand crafted tonic range - Franklin & Sons - in South London? Your job will be to use your experience in the on trade to provide education, brand and activation support to the top bars across the area. In addition to working on Franklins, we’d be looking for you to influence your contacts in the business to build sales for our premium Global Brands products such as Teichenne and Myers. There will be freedom and responsibility to identify new business opportunities, and to work closely with our regional sales managers to win and support these accounts.

The Role

Due to the ongoing success of our broad portfolio, we are now looking to further expand our Off Trade business unit. This is a new role at National Account Manager level specialising in Convenience, Online & Discounters.

The Person

PA TO DIRECTORS // GLOBAL BRANDS LTD

The Role

This is a truly varied, interesting, and busy role which will see you having insight into all aspects of our fast moving, entrepreneurial, and successful drinks business. You will be providing PA and Administrative support to the Chairman and three Directors of Global Brands Ltd. You will be a vital point of contact for the rest of the company and very visible, thus we are seeking confident and resilient candidates able to easily multitask, whilst screening telephone calls, enquiries and requests and responding where appropriate. The job will include a wide range of important tasks from travel arrangements which could be complex involving flights, visas, accommodation and car hire to organising internal meetings or managing important clients’ visits to our Head Offices. There is also a degree of confidential personal work for the Chairman. You need to be comfortable working with minimal supervision and have the drive to seek out information and facts for yourself. Naturally in a role of this nature there are some general administrative tasks too including submitting expenses, including corporate credit cards, spreadsheet management, records management and maintaining both physical and electronic files.

We are looking for a PA who has a proven, and probably no less than five year track record, of managing multiple directors at any one time preferably in a product based company. We need someone who is extremely versatile, quick thinking and with the ability to work with a wide array of personalities and support them efficiently. The job demands someone with advanced MS Word, Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint skills. Great drafting skills are also often required as the PA to Directors is often sought out to draft messages and correspondence across the business and to external clients and customers. Any Spanish language skills would be beneficial but not vital to the role.

The current incumbent of this role is moving on within the company to a role in recruitment for the company and its sister company CASA hotel after having grown within the job for over 7 years. We are proud to support staff development in this way.

We now need to augment our talented sales team with a National Account Manager to work in the on-trade business unit specialising in the Students and Late Night sector delivering vital core business objectives. This is one of the most influential ledgers for our business, and as such it is supported with a healthy marketing budget. It is at the forefront of our core brands plans, and the individual in this role is highly visible to the business across all our teams.

The Person

Ambitious, intelligent, driven to succeed with a natural ability to network, influence and sell. The candidate for this role must have recent and relevant understanding of the 18-24 year old sector and their drinking occasions. They should retain a desire to be involved in late night activations and experiential marketing campaigns within this young, vibrant, group. Experience of working with NUSSL or other late night/student businesses would be ideal. ASSISTANT BUYER

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our successful and established Purchasing team. The successful candidate will be learning and developing valuable buying skills from day one. If you’re commercially-minded, sociable and have an eye for trends and good deals, this is the role for you. Some typical activities will include:

  • Taking responsibility for sourcing, ordering and organising all point of sale items and marketing material for Global Brands and Casa Hotel
  • Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships
  • Sourcing and Co-ordinating point of sale samples for quality and to ensure they are fit for purpose
  • Supporting the Purchasing Manager in the creation and assessment of legal agreements and contracts
  • Supporting the Purchasing Manager in the procurement of goods and services for the production department
  • Supporting the Communications Team with advertising responsibilities including sourcing and booking of above-the-line advertising including trade magazines
  • Observing the purchasing process and administering the procurement log
  • Benchmarking prices for consumables and commodities and service contracts
  • Sourcing and booking of vehicle wrapping and branding commercial vehicles
  • Assisting the Purchasing Manager when required in the procurement of high value purchases such as vehicles

The Person

  • Positive and enthusiastic with a professional attitude
  • Well developed interpersonal and communication skills to maintain our successful business relationships with suppliers
  • Commercially aware; meaning you are interested in our products, customers, competition, markets and how the business supply chain works
  • Have the ability and confidence to meet deadlines and deliver results under time pressures
  • Have some understanding of contract law and ethical codes of practice
  • Be proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
