REGIONAL SALES MANAGER – EAST MIDLANDS AREA

The Role

Due to our continued sales growth, corresponding sales team expansion and a series of internal promotions, we are now recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager for the East Midlands Area. With our diverse portfolio of products, our regional sales managers enjoy working with all sectors of the drinks market. You will need to be a confident and highly motivated operator, coming from a drinks sales background or, maybe from the late night bar or nightclub scene as a General Manager . Reporting in to our Northern Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing our relationships and business across the on trade retail channel as well as exploring opportunities in new business channels such as regional on trade route to market and HORECA.

The Person

This role will suit an ambitious and likeable individual looking to progress their career; someone who thrives working in a fast moving, entrepreneurial, environment. We recruit talented and driven candidates and we reward account managers who are willing to push the boundaries, learn rapidly, move at pace and have experience of managing a P&L. The role is field based and you will ideally be located in Derbyshire, Leicestershire or Lincolnshire with a network of established contacts already in place.

SENIOR BRAND MANAGER

Based in Chesterfield, Global Brands is the UK’s leading independent drinks business. Due to the continued excellent performance of our portfolio of drinks, and the importance of our marketing team in this success, we are now looking for a Senior Brand Manager to work on a fast growing brand, central to future growth and strategy of the business.

We are looking for candidates with a great track record in running innovative campaigns, working across the full marketing-mix to drive commercial success. Creative thinking is also a must; we actively encourage the new ideas and support our people wherever possible to make them a reality. We like spirited individuals who believe they can make a difference and are prepared to prove it.

Your key responsibilities in this role will be the development, management and delivery of the annual brand plan and marketing strategy including; advertising, events, experiential, social media, PR, promotional activity and product development.

The role also requires natural gravitas and leadership skills with experience managing multiple stakeholders and inspiring cross functional teams. You will need to be a strong communicator and be comfortable at presenting at a senior level both internally and to some of our largest customers.

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • 5+ years’ experience of working in brand marketing with drinks or FMCG brands (ideally soft drinks/mixers)
  • Be a highly numerate and commercial thinking with a clear ability to present robust and compelling insight / direction
  • Have the capacity to switch easily between strategic and operational tasks , taking hands on responsibility for brands within the portfolio
  • Experience delivering projects in different areas / channels - ATL, instore, digital, social, events etc
  • To have experience of NPD, innovation and/or packaging improvements
  • Be confident, outgoing and able to communicate to stakeholders at all levels
  • Possess an entrepreneurial flair and can do attitude;
  • Be able to analyse and present results, data and insights

CUSTOMER MARKETING MANAGER (OFF TRADE)

We're focused on being renowned as the number one independent and innovative drinks company, and our HQ is based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

We have a talented Customer Marketing Team who oversee the activation of brand and customer plans for the On and Off-trade, across our entire portfolio of products. We are now seeking a passionate and committed Customer Marketing Manager to join the team and manage our Off Trade marketing activities. You will be responsible for developing retailer specific plans based on category insights across display, online & digital, promotions, merchandising and new product launches.

You will have dedicated customer facing experience (ideally in grocery) as well as a tenacity and ambition to succeed.

Our key requirements for the role are listed below but above all else we will be seeking out dynamic, resilient and passionate characters who will thrive in our exciting entrepreneurial business.

Reporting to the Senior Customer Marketing Manager, key responsibilities for the role include:

  • Create and execute marketing activation plans in the Off trade, convenience, cash and carry
  • Measure and evaluate activity demonstrating tangible results for the business as well as future recommendations
  • Work closely with the insight team to interpret data and develop retailer specific recommendations
  • Work alongside the National Account Manager to build bespoke retailer tenders and activation plans
  • Be the conduit between sales & marketing to ensure brand and customer objectives are being met, enabling profitable brand growth
  • Work with all functions in Marketing, Sales & Production to develop customer specific new product launch plans

Key requirements:

  • High performing individual with 2+ years of customer/trade marketing experience (ideally off trade)
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering activation plans
  • Highly numerate and strong commercial thinker with a clear ability to present robust and compelling insight / direction
  • High energy levels with the capacity to deliver multiple tasks
  • Ability to understand and utilise category and commercial data to develop insights and direction for marketing activities
  • Possess strong project management skills and an ability to think both rapidly and ‘outside the box’
  • Be passionate about our brands, with a hunger to succeed
  • Focused on delivering results and both continuous personal and professional development
